One of the many outdoor activities that I love, is fly fishing. I love fly fishing in all its forms. Wether its throwing a hopper/dropper rig, euro nymphing, casting a size 22 trico to selective brown trout, or tenkara.
I first heard about tenkara in 2009 and was immediately intrigued by the idea of using a long, telescoping rod to fish smaller streams. Tenkara allows me to fish over extremely spooky fish without fear of putting them off to my fly. As my love for tenkara grew, I was able to make connections and build relationships with other anglers across the country. In January of 2016 I was asked if I would like to write an article for Tenkara Angler. Along with a article written about introducing people to tenkara, I also provided seven images to be used for the Spring 2016 issue.
